Burgandy loves loves Cheerleading! But, since she is in a brand new High School, they decided they would not join the competition circuit this year. A couple months ago she was invited to join an All Star Competition Team and she was crazy excited!!!!
Last weekend was the first meet in Boise, Idaho...
6 hour road trip!!! Fun!! Burgandy was able to bring her best friend Kaila with us and we were so lucky to get to stay with my Aunt Jacky.
Her least favorite part... the make up and flashy uniform.
Her favorite part.... nailing her stunts and all her tumbling passes!

They took first place for Level 5 coed and won the Spirit Stick!
This weekend we were in Salt Lake City.
Senja was the cheerleaders cheerleader!!!
Again, lots of time in the bleachers!
Look who was there competing in a different category... her second cousin Ali Hill! She cheers for High School near us and it has been fun seeing her at games!
They took 1st place for level 4 coed, won the Spirit Stick again and after a recount they had the highest over all score for All Stars and won the Grand Champion Golden Ticket Award! This means her squad wins a free trip to Nationals in Vegas coming in April!!!!
Oh the bleachers are killing my back!!!!!

My daughter did cheer this year and her team went to competition. It was the first time I have watched cheer competition. It was a lot of fun! But you're right, that much time in the bleachers is hard on our backs.
