Last weekend Burgandy and I went to the Festival of Colors held at the Krishna Temple. The tradition is from India and is called Holi.
In India, Holi announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. The festival breathes an atmosphere of social merriment. People bury their hatchets with a warm embrace and throw their worries to the wind.

Everyone is given packets of colors. ( it is just colored chalk and totally harmless)
The count down starts and at 1 everyone throws their colors into the air! Throwing their worries to the wind!
A unbelievable sight! The bands, mosh pits and crowd surfing then began.
