Having a daughter in Ninth grade is a strange thing. I remember being a Freshman like it was yesterday! I remember wanting to get good grades because my parents wanted me to. I don't ever think I ever really wanted them just for my own satisfaction.
My daughter Burgandy is very different than me in this way.
I never have to ask her if her homework is done, if she has any reading to do or if she has turned in all of her assignments. She is completely self motivated!
So, this Honor Roll Award is ALL her. She kept a 4.0 for two of the quarters and never had anything less than A all year!
To top if off she also received the award for "Most School Spirited" for the whole Ninth grade!
She is one dedicated Cheerleader and a great example for her whole squad.
I am so lucky to have such an amazing kid! C'mon, I had to brag just a little, right?
